What do they do to the baby after birth?

  I'm interested in things that happen after the baby is born that are optional.  For instance, my chiropractor was talking about the eye ointment that they put on baby's after they are born, the Vitamin K shot and hepatitis B vaccine.  (I get that some things happen and baby needs extra medical attention, but assuming a "normal" delivery and baby)

Are there other things that I just don't know about that are optional?? I'm a FTM, but want to find out as much as I can before labor so I can hopefully be more informed about my options. TIA!
