Minimal Umbilical Cord

  We recently had our 18 week ultrasound.  During the ultrasound, the technician said it looked like the umbilical cord was not in the center of the placenta, but off to the side.  My doctor said I have nothing to worry about and if she's not worried then I shouldn't be worried. But, of course I'm completely stressed out.  I'm hoping our little guy is still getting all the nutrients he needs and grows healthy and strong.  I was curious if anyone else has had this or heard of it and had any information for me. There really isn't a lot out there on the internet. Thanks for your help!! : )
