***allisonmarie22*** mini crib/sheets

hi! i just saw your post on mini cribs!

this is the one we have for our LO:
http://www.amazon.com/DaVinci-Emily-Mini-Crib-Ebony/dp/B000FT9J3U

obviously we haven't gotten to use it yet, but we have it, and it's set up and i LOVE it. it looks like a nice full size crib, but mini! not one of those collapsible kinds. it's perfect for us! we have it in espresso and the color is beautiful! :)

if you decide to get it, we also got the suggested mattress and mattress pad on that amazon page in the "frequently bought together" section. the mattress is nice and thick, and seems like it will be comfy! however, finding sheets for it was TERRIBLE. i'll save you the runaround and tell you a lot of sheets wont work (even if it says "mini crib" size) because the mattress is 5" thick. but, we found sheets on sheetworld.com in their mini/portable crib section that fit WONDERFULLY.

you have to choose the custom fitted size though that says 5.5" for height. the only issue is that they are EXPENSIVE :( but they are SO, SO, SOFT (they are jersey knit). so, i love them, but yeah, they are pricey.

a cheaper option that i have heard works, but we never tried was the gerber knit ones from babies r us:

they have terrible reviews on there because people are complaining about them not fitting their normal size crib mattress, but from what i've read, they fit the mini crib mattress perfectly, and are a much cheaper option.

people say the koala portable crib sheets from babies r us will fit, but they dont. they BARELY fit, and once i washed them they didn't fit at all!

hope this helps you!!! :) just wanted to share my experience so far with ours!
