Poop question (XP Breastfeeding board)

DD is exclusively breastfed and has a BM every 2 days or so. Sometimes it is every 3 days...I know this is normal.

However, by the 2nd day, she gets horrible gas and we have to give gas drops and gripe water every feeding.  She almost is very hard to feed and we have a hard time getting her to latch.

A few times now, she has had form to her bowel movements.  They are not hard, but very formed.  She struggles and cries to get them out (moreso than when she has a more liquidity BM).

When she does have a normal poop, there aren't many curds...just liquidy.

Any advice or is this normal?
