Acid Refulx sleeping suggestions

My 8week little girl has acid reflux and we are under the care of Dr's with new formula and new meds. She can only sleep soundly laying on my chest while I sit in my chair. While this works for her and does allow me to sleep more than an hour at a time (back at work also) I have not slept in bed with my husband since she was born. We can not lay her down to sleep and she is constantly gagging and clearing her throat in the swing or bouncy seat, which allows me NO sleep.

In about a week we can start laying her down with her bed inclined. She has never slept laying down! Anyone out there been through this and how did you do it? Even now, the second I put her in her seat from laying on me she wakes up and fights going back to sleep.

She is not at all good about keeping a pacifier in her mouth either which helps with the reflux. I stick it in, she spits it out but wants it again and again! I use Gumdrops and Soothies.
