So, I'm going to be in a friend's wedding in 4 months. I'll be 8 months pregnant then, and the bride is fully aware of my unfortunate big belly (swollen ankles, etc). However, I'd still like to try and get a little more into shape. Before I got pregnant I ran about 2.5 miles 5 times a week to stay at a healthy weight. We were having trouble TTC, so I actually cut out my running cold turkey, and got pregnant right away. Since then I haven't exercised at all, and have noticed my legs, arms, etc. getting really flabby, and I've gained more weight then I should have. I'd really like to try to start exercising again, and tone up a bit, however I don't know if it's safe to actually try to lose fat or really increase your exercise during pregnancy. Does anyone have any insight into this?
