Crib mattress....Looking for 2 stage crib/toddler ...Rec's please?

Hi Ladies, 

Looking for a 2 stage crib/toddler bed mattress? Where did you purchase your mattress and what kind did you go with?

Need recommendations?

Also, our LO is almost 2 1/2 is it not safe to use his mattress for this baby? Should you be going with a new one for the firmness. Was unsure and didn't want to take any chances. The associate at buybuy baby recommended it's not a good idea to reuse mattresses from one child to the next.

 Would like to get some thoughts and recommendations please?
