When did you start using the bouncer or swing?

When did you start using the bouncer or swing for your LO - or when did they start enjoying it?

My DD is just over 1 month old and I'm looking for ways to soothe or entertain her when she's awake and I need to put her down.  We have a RnP, which is great for nap time but not great when she's wide awake.  We have a small portable swing (by Bright Starts), but she doesn't seem to enjoy it yet.  I'm thinking about getting a bouncer for her to see if she might like that.  Any recommendations??
