What would you do?

A coworker of mine and his wife lost their baby a couple months after he was born 6 years ago. They have tried to conceive since then but to no avail. They have even seen fertility specialists and taken all of the steps but they are starting to lose hope.

When I told them I was pregnant, they were both super excited for me. (I'm really close with his wife as well.) They still have all of their baby stuff (brand new) in a storage locker and keep telling me that whenever I want to go through the storage locker, I can take anything/everything and that they are tired of paying the storage fee and whatnot.

At first I was all for it. I mean, everything I need for free! Wow! But the more and more I think about it, the more uncomfortable I am. First of all, I wouldn't feel right taking anything for free but I know they won't take any money from me. Also, all that stuff was bought for their son and I kind of want my babies own things. And lastly, what if they get pregnant after I take everything!? I'd feel bad that they have to get all new things. (Although one of my coworkers who is really superstitious thinks that if I take all the belongings they can finally move on and that will help them get pregnant. Who knows.)

So I don't know what to do. What do you think?
