16 weeks?

I called my doctor's nurse this morning to ask about something baby safe for my migraines, which have returned the last two weeks.  

While we were on the phone, she asked if we had given more thought to doing an elective u/s at our next appointment.  I asked if the u/s tech could determine our baby's sex then.  She spoke with the tech, who assured her she would be able to determine the sex at 16 weeks, which I just happen to be on my next visit!

Has anybody else found out at 16 weeks? Was it accurate?
