I did it! I'm going back to teaching!

An opportunity came up as I was just having a conversation to a friend who is also a reading coach. She mentioned she was covering a class because their 4th grade teacher left and I half-jokingly said I would take over the class for her.  Well, she told her principal (who was one of my former assistant principals) and that lead to a lot of conversations about putting family first.  And, so.... I start on Tuesday!  I'm actually pretty excited to get back to teaching and having a more stable schedule, again. I'll be teaching 4th grade reading, language arts, and social studies to 2 classes one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I'm also looking forward to picking up Elise earlier and going for walks, again.   I figure she's only going to be little once and administration will always be their in the future.  Now, I can also finally decide if we should TTC, again, because I had been going back and forth on that (got off BCP, then back on, lol).
