Rib pain???

I am 7 weeks pregnant but I posted this here incase any of you have experienced it throughou your first or second trimesters.

Yesterday I woke up with sore left ribs, tender to the touch and it hurts to cough, laugh, breathe deep, or lift anything heavy with my left arm.

Its a horrible stretching pain that feels like Im going to pop something if I sneeze.

Ive read that this can happen because of pregnancy? anyone know the cause or how to get relief?

I went to the ER with it last night and the Dr thought I was nuts! but then again he wouldnt listen to me when i explained what was going on, he wrote it off as pleurisy and gave me scripts for lortab and solu-medrol! idiots i swear.
