New to 2nd tri...spotting?

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to the second trimester, and have had a pretty normal pregnancy up to this point. I had some spotting in the beginning (8-9 weeks) but was told that's normal.

I woke up this morning to brown blood/discharge. It wasn't a ton, but it's still there whenever I wipe (sorry if that's TMI- best way I can describe it). I am not having severe cramps but just mild ones, probably RLP but I've never been prego before so I really don't know. I've had mild cramping for the past few weeks though.

I plan on calling the doctor in two hours when they open, but until then, can anyone give me some consolation? Have you had any brown spotting and it turned out okay?
