Burpin issues?

We are having so much trouble getting LO to burp. Anyone else have trouble with their NB and burping? I am BF and doing some supplementing with formula, trying to get away from that and only do BM. But I think in his 2 weeks of life I've got him to burp a hand full of times. Does this seems weird?
