Feeding schedule

January 2012 in Babies: 0 - 3 Months

I am wondering how the feeding schedule works. If the baby happens to (wishful thinking I know) sleep longer than 3 hrs, do you wake him/her up, set an alarm for yourself at night?

How long does the baby feed for the first month-Ive read from 5 min to 20 min. Do you alternate breasts in one sitting?
