glucose screening

Went for the "initial" glucose test...standard procedure even though I show no indication of problems.

I've had a bit of a cold and after drinking the orange drink I started to feel super uncomfortable - at first really cold, then too hot (even leaning against a fridge didn't help)...I ended up going to the washroom at the hospital and running my hands under cold water to cool myself off before I was sick.

Did anyone else experience this? I am trying to figure out if it was the drink (in which case I am kind of worried that I am going to have to go for more tests...we'll see once the blood work is back) or if it was a combo of my cold and my fear of needles...I know sitting there for an hour knowing I was going to have to get blood taken wasn't helping anything but...I'm just confused.
