Kind of a weird question

Okay, so just to set the stage, I'm just a little more than 16 weeks now and I haven't felt any movement (at least I don't think I have).

So last night I was sleeping and I woke up from a dead sleep swearing I felt the baby kick. It was the weirdest sensation and if it was a kick it was a strong one. I'm not sure if this is just something I was dreaming and it was so real that it woke me up or if it was something I actually felt. I do tend to have very vivid dreams that have only increased since getting pregnant.

Did anyone else feel strong kicks at 16 weeks (FTM)? Have they ever woken you up out of sleep? I just want to know if its possible or I dreamt the whole thing!
