Apparently this is frowned upon by some and some people think it's tacky. Sheeeeeesh!

Where I come from you get a baby shower for every baby you have! Mom's don't ask for it at all, it's just standard for friend or family member to do this because they care about you and are excited for you. We do this because it's our pleasure! In no way is it a burden. It's a great way for ladies to get together, enjoy good food, play silly baby shower games, and give mom a gift, either for her or the baby. Every baby is a reason to celebrate!
