COW MILK AND 6 MONTH OLD

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share something with everyone and get any suggestions or comments. My friend has a 6 month old LO that she started out breastfeeding and then switched to formula. Well yesterday I stop by to see her and the baby and I asked what type of formula she was using. To my surprise she said Oh I'm giving the baby while cow's milk. I was shocked I have never heard of giving a 6 month old cow's milk. Have anyone heard of this? I read the effects of what could happen if cow's milk is given to a infant. Should I say anything to her about it?
