Reusing half eaten bottle?

I know I've read that one should not keep any formula bottles that LO has already drank from due to bacteria. Is this true even if you immediately stuck it in the fridge? Sometimes I'll make LO a bottle because she's acting ravenous but then she takes a couple sucks and she's done. Should I still toss these bottles I've made to avoid getting LO sick?
