U can't please everyone!

We told people our name for our lil baby boy. (eeeeeek!!) And we have gotten more "ohhh that's different" than "awwww that's cute!" I KNOW we can't please everyone. I know that. But it still kinda hurts.

We love the name MATEO.. but certain people (like family) just avoid it and it saddens me. Grrrr. We aren't going to change it by any means but it still bothers me. At one point I even wanted to change it and take a poll of what name everyone liked! ARE U KIDDING ME?!?! WHY SHOULD WE CHANGE IT!?

So anywho... any of yall out there choose a name that people really didn't like? If so, how did you deal with it??

My hormones are crazy so I feel like I will be going off on someone pretttttty soon! LOL.
