Help with nap time.

LO is now 9 weeks old and does not take daytime naps. Dad works nights and needs LO to take a nap during the day..  to keep his sanity. We don't want to resort to daycare due to daycare costs and we want to be the one's to teach our children. Any suggestions? LO sleeps in 3 hour intervals at night. 3 hours, eat and then back down. Please help, is there anything we can do to get him into a nap routine?
