Measuring Too Big...

Just curious if anyone else has been through this. 

I went to the doctor for the first time yesterday (couldn't go earlier because of insurance issues)  I am supposed to be 13 weeks and 4 days. Doc said when he felt my stomach for my uterus and then did my internal exam that I am measuring more like 16-18 weeks.  This is my 2nd baby but I didn't think your uterus was that much larger the second time. My doc thought it might be twins so he did a sono (with no tech) really quick..which was great cause I saw baby! It didn't appear to be more than one unless someone was hiding, so he scheduled me with a tech next week to do a dating u/s cause he thinks my dates are just off.  Anyone else go through this and what was your reason for being too big?
