baby movement not what I had expected...

So I have my 19 week appt today and the doctor asked if I had felt any movement yet and I said no. So she gets the doppler and is pressing on my belly and she said "the baby is moving a lot right now, can you feel it?" and I said "no", she said "really, because I can feel it with my hand!" So now I realize that this "nervous feeling" that I have been having is really the baby?!! This is so weird. I thought it was suppose to be a fluttering sensation or something. It just feels like a Slight twinge or poke with a needle, just like when I get nervous. Totally not what I thought baby was suppose to feel like! I gotta admit, I'm not crazy about this sensation!
