eye contact - 11w olds

describe your baby's eye contact with you at 11w (if not 11w, then specify age). My son will only really make eye contact briefly & then breaks contact (either looks completely away, or just up at my forehead). I feel as though he does better when I'm 3 feet away rather than closer. Also he isn't tracking 180 degrees, sometimes he'll track for 30-45 degrees or so, but then stops.

one of my friends made a comment today about how he was avoiding looking at her & it's bugging me.
