told girl but confirmed boy later?

I went in for my 17wk appt today. Doc said he was calling a girl as he was unable to see a boy parts but said not to go out shopping just yet...wait till our 20wk scan for confirmation...I remember clearly seeing boy parts with ds at this stage.

Just wondering if anyone was told girl early on and confirmed a boy few wks later at anatomy scan?
