For moms with 3 children

Do any of you just have a car? I drive a ford focus and we are about to have number two so it will still work for us. But DH was saying that even if we have a 3rd child that we will still only need a car. I think that would be nice if that was true but three kids in the back seat all in car seats or two in car seats one without, still sounds pretty cramped to me even if we got a full sized car.

So what about 5 seater SUVs would they work better? Im really not the mini van type and dont want to drive a huge SUV unless i have too?

Opinions on this? would a five seater SUV or a five seater car work or be impractical.
