Prenatal Vitamins

So... I've been taking these doctor prescribed prenatals since my 1st appointment confirming the pregnancy.

I just NOW noticed on the bottle that it says to take on an empty stomach x amt of hours before or after a meal (impossible!) unless otherwise noted by your doctor.

Well, I can't take these things without barfing, so I take them at night after dinner before bed time and not within these time limits that are described on the bottle.

When I originally picked them up at the pharmacy, the pharmacist never mentioned anything about taking them on an empty stomach...

Why would you need to take them on empty and how important do you think it really is??
