Today my husband was on the phone w/ his mom and told her we picked up some nursery stuff.  When she asked what we are decorating and he said monkeys, her response was "monkeys? Ohhhh..ok"  So he reiterated and she made a point of saying she thought we would do something like zoo animals or whatnot.  I am so annoyed that she had the nerve to make a comment about how we should be decorating and then judge it.  

She also made a comment to my dad a few weeks ago about one of our original name ideas (Jonathan - nothing crazy) which was the only name we had mentioned.  We have since decided it will probably be Gavin and are definitely not telling her although now I want to go back to Jonathan just because she seemed to have an issue with it.
