Gas relief drops

How long does it take to start taking effect? I think LO is gassy... she keeps tootin' and screaming. I've tried everything and couldn't calm her, so I went to the drops. I didn't want to medicate her unless absolutely necessary. I gave them to her about 10 mintues ago and placed her in her swing... it's been about a minute on/minute off of screaming now that she's in her swing.

I tried massage, patting, swinging in my arms, walking/bouncing, attempting to feed her to get her mind off of it (she normally eats this time anyway), ugh.. just nothing I can do. I feel SO bad for her! Any other suggestions??
