When did LO start smiling socially?

My books say "by two months" or there could be a problem. My LO is 4 weeks, and no smiles so far, so I'm just wondering approximately when he might start. BTW, anyone else get freaked out ALL THE TIME that something is wrong with the baby??? I feel like I'm crazy pills half of the time - my pediatrician must think I'm a total wack job.
