How much is to much?

Can your newborn eat to much? 

With my DD1 we had to battle with her to eat so this is all new to me. My DD2 is 23 days old and is eating about every 2 1/2 hours and takes almost 4 oz each time. A friend of mines 2 month old is eating the same amount.
