Tailbone Pain?

LO was born 4 weeks ago and I'm still having bad tailbone pain to the point where I have to continue to take vicodin and ibuprofen daily. If I don't take the medication, then I'm crying in pain while trying to sit in any position to breastfeed baby. I also have difficulty getting up from sitting or laying down positions because of the pain in my tailbone. Is this normal? If you had pain in tailbone, how long did it last?
