Hiccups @ 12 wks. Surprised??

At our NT Scan, Monster looked like he was doing crunches. It took the OB and the tech a while to figure out it was hiccups. Neither had ever seen hiccups this early. Back at the office, the OB told her partner my LO had hiccups at 12 wks and she seemed shocked, too. Is this a huge surprise? Anyone else see hiccups this early?
