Is this dress suitable for me for New Year party?

Hi,ladies. What kind of clothes do u suggest to wear for a pregnant mother on New Year party? I  have been 2st trimester mother. I prefers to dress sexy  and less even i am pregnant now. The other day, I am considering of getting this Shimmer Crepe Sheath Dress and show it to my hubby. he said It's really nice style. But he think it's too tight for me.and it is easy make me fall and hurt. I'm a little worry about it for sure. What do u think? Is it too tight and not safe for me ??What kind of clothes should I suggest for me for New Year party? Thanks for any input
