XP: A couple digestive questions

Does gripe water really work? I don't know why I'm so skeptical but I've used it twice and it seemed to help both times but I need a larger sample. So I want to start giving it all the time. Can I do that, and if so how often? Sometimes it seems she gets abdominal discomfort and I think she's pretty gassy. I'm not sure what's normal though since I have nothing to compare it to.

And a question about hiccups. I know they are pretty normal and C gets them about half of her feedings. But sometimes she vomits with each hiccup. Does anyone else's LO do this? She doesn't do this every time she gets the hiccups and when she does it will be like the first 4 or 5 hiccups.

ETA: She does have reflux and we're working on that and it's pretty mild to begin with. The abdominal discomfort I'm talking about seems to be independent from the reflux.
