small freak out moment...

I'm a FTM and at my advanced age, I got used to living my life doing whatever I wanted. We've been married for 10 years and are totally ready to have a child. Although I am ecstatic about being pregnant and a mommy, a feeling that my life will never be the way it was came over me and the thought that once the baby arrives I will forever have a person in my life that I will stress over. (I'm pretty care-free now.)

Of course I knew all of this before TTC, but the thought just hit me out of the blue and freaked me out for a moment!

Has anyone else felt this way?
