Clawing at face?!?!

My LO has been clawing and scratching at his face lately. At first I didnt think much of it but now he really seems to be going at it. He will make himself bleed....we try and keep up on cutting his finger nails.... I dont know if he is doing it as a comfort thing or what?

Anyone else?
