best long range baby monitor?

we have a 8 week old that has been sleeping in our room, but we're thinking about letting her sleep some stretches in her crib. the problem is, her room is on the other side of the house from the master bedroom. our sony babycall monitor that someone gave us signals that it's out of range when i'm less than thirty feet from her room (i use it some during naps)...nowhere near as far as the master bedroom is. surely there are good long range monitors out there? i would prefer a video one but the most important thing is a clear, reliable signal that will work at least a couple hundred feet away, preferably more. and also stay charged for a decent amount of time! any recs?
