feeding too much?

my baby boy is 7 weeks old and just now yesterday wants 5 oz. at every feeding which is every 2.5-3 hours. anyone else doing this? seems like he is never satisfied and always wanting food. Sucks on hands when he wakes up...does this always mean that he is hungry?? I am still having problems reading his signals for what he wants/needs. help!
