question for babies mixed with black...

this may sound like a dumb question, but are you ladies putting anything in your babies hair this early?? my daughter is mixed with black and filipino and her hair looks pretty managable right now. but i was just curious if any other parents of mixed kids are putting anything in lo's hair to make it more soft and for growth. maybe way too early...
