How long before jaundice completely goes away?

I'm BFing my 4-pounder who is a challenge to keep awake and take a full feeding.  I am determined not to introduce a bottle until she has really gotten the hang of BFing.  She is one week old today and still has a bit of yellowish tinge to her face.  The rest of her body is a healthy pink. Our pedi is super laid back and just said that the first and last place to see jaundice is in the face.  How long did it take your baby's jaundice to completely go away?
