For those who are not doing the crying it out method

My little one has been safely co-sleeping with me for 8 weeks now. I want to get her to sleep by her self but I am not willing to let her cry it out, im just not confortable with that method. Is anyone else not using the cry it out method? Any sucess and how are you doing it??
