anyone else afraid to use powdered formula now?

after hearing about the death of a 10day old I literally ran to the store to buy liquid, which we used until about a month ago before switching to powder. I read online that the liquid is safer by far and is heat treated where the powder isnt so anything can happen with it! Its so much more expensive for liquid and we have twins and one income but I just can't imagine taking the risk! If anyone has any updates on whether or not it was really the formula please post, I didnt find much online this morning about it. Is anyone else switching or am I just being way too paranoid? I couldnt even imagine losing one or both LOs over something like this. My hear really goes out to the family of the LO who passed
