Hi everyone! I am a first time mom and my baby girl, Samara, is just 6 days old today.

I am beastfeeding her and making sure she eats every 3 hours but I have to actively try to wake her in order for her to nurse and change her diaper. After about 10-15 min of nursing she falls right back into a slumber for about another 3 hours and I have to do it all again. She is peeing and pooping normally but I didn't know if any of you had the same thing going on with your newborns at some point. Is she sleeping too much? or is it just normal at this stage? Thanks in advance
