C-Section Mama's - Scar/incision question

All you mama's that had a c-section previously or with your current baby... 

When did your incision/scar become "normal" in terms of sensation and less easily irritated?  

I'm 4 weeks 2 days out from my c-section and I still have to wear these nasty, huge, tummy-covering brief underwear and my pregnancy jeans because waistbands/anything touching or rubbing directly over my incision is irritating and sore.  It's not painful just irritating and gets sore with a lot of contact to it.  It's healing fine and never any signs of infection...

Just wondering how long it took others to have that incision area not so easily irritated and able to have clothing directly touching it.
