CA people and trimester screening/genetics testing

Is anyone else having a difficult time with the state in regards to their insurance and paying for the 1st trimester screening?

I know my insurance covers it. I verified it with them. When I got the initial bill, I sent in my insurance info as requested. I heard back nothing. Then about a month later I received a duplicate bill. Calling the place is useless. You are on hold for 20 minutes and then transferred to VM. I left a VM and heard back nothing. I got a second notice for my bill and then sent an email asking about the status of my bill and insurance. Several days later I received a generic correspondence not even addressing my concerns -just telling me I can send in my info via email. 

Uuuugh. I hate that the state is in charge of this. Anyone else having problems?
