2 month shots Screaming??

Our son had his shots today and screamed during (clearly its painful)... Im not worried about that but about 2 hours after he wouldn't stop screaming we did the normal feed him, change him, swaddle, rock swing, ect. He just wouldn't stop and it was a screaming cry like I've never heard from him before.  I gave him tylenol and now he has been sleeping for like 4 hours straight... Is this how your LO reacted?  I feel horrible for him
