mini pill

I just started taking the mini pill and am breastfeeding. I remember my midwife telling me with my first child that I had to take it at the exact same time every day and that it has to be unlike the normal pill where there is some wiggle room. well i am having a hard time remembering to take it at the same time this time around. some nights it is an hour and half difference. Just wondering if this will really effect it. How close in time do you take your pills? Dont want to have another one so want to be safe...yet my husband is not a fan of using condoms as a second method.
