Suggestions for transitioning to crib?

We are trying to transition from RNP to crib & haven't had any success yet. He likes to be all snugly like in RNP & when he gets in crib there's not that snugly feeling anymore and we do swaddle him ( arms out). Any suggestions for helping the transition appreciated. I can understand why he doesn't like it.... The RNP is clearly more comfy than that hard flat mattress in the crib
